I think these would be great for just going out for a hot weather event, barbecue party, etc. but I was trying to find something for walking millions of miles in Italy in hot months, where most of the AC is only back at your hotel.These definitely chafed way too much where the lace hit. The lace really chafed against the other lace, and each leg isn’t always exactly at the same height so where the lace hit the skin on the opposite leg really got raw. Also the seam down the lace started to really hurt after a while since that’s getting rubbed into your skin.I wouldn’t say no to these overall, since I think they are really cute. I like the length and the look of the lace but not for my recent vacation purposes. But would work perfectly fine and be comfortable for most events in America where you are in and out of the AC and not walking many miles all day.
