I needed something that would be good for wearing and working outside in the heat and humidity and I needed pockets. I am super pleased with this purchase. They have been washed and worn several times and so far, so good. *I am washing them on gentle and air drying them.These shorts are well made and nice features but stiffer than I expected. I planned to use for yoga but the outside material is not as flexible as I need. Also the material makes the crinkly noise when you move, not noticeable in normal use but distracting in yoga. I will use for other outside activities. I do love the great pockets. I would have given a 5 based on the shorts but because of my intended use, I gave a 4Oh my gosh, these are perfect. I can see myself wearing them for hiking, tennis, biking, running errands or just being cute. I'm a size 0/xs. I bought these knowing they'll be slightly big on me, and they are but not in a bad way. I love that it has 3 pockets. Two with zippers on the front and one on the lining shorts.The fabric is very nice quality. The reason for the four star is that I didn't like the way it looked on my body style. I'm 4'11" and overweight. The flaring on the legs didn't compliment my frame.The fit is as expected! The under shorts weren’t as fitted as I’d like but are tight enough to help with the shorts riding up while running. I like the shorts!The inner shorts are comfortable; fitted but not tight like leggings. The outer short has so much extra fabric in the back that it hangs in sort of a flat triangular shape--looks like your rear end is about to go hang gliding. (This from someone whose behind is more of a reason to size up than down.) Perhaps that is a look some people are after, but in my opinion you would need to have a very exaggerated figure to fill these out without alteration. Too bad because they are quality shorts otherwise.Shorts fit great, very comfortable. The only thing I would change is that I wish it had a pocket on both sides, not just the left side.I normally wear an XL in botroms or shorts but I Had to get an XXL becauae of the measurements shown. These shorts run small, make sure you size up...Other than that they are soft, comfortable, very stretchy and light weight...Great for yoga...highly recommend, price was great too on the white shorts.....
