I own two pairs of these shorts and two pairs of the Pilsner Peak Pants. They have held up well and I love the quality. I am pretty hard on my shorts and pants and these have held up well and I still wear my first pair I bought in 2016. They are a great summer short and breath well. The material feels thin, but is durable. The only thing I don't love is the mesh pockets, but again I understand that was done for the breath-ability. These make a great travel short and I've washed them the night before in the hotel sink and they were dry as a bone in the morning. Do yourself a favor and get a pair.I am not a "short pants kind of person." They either seemed immodest at worst or too casual at best. They always made me feel just slightly undressed in some situations. They either felt like shorts for swimming or for hiding out in my back yard. But my Pilsner Peak shorts let me feel comfortable in any but the most formal occasions. Unless the weather is really cold, now I prefer wearing these shorts to any pair of long pants I own. And that may change, because I love the feel, cut, and quality of the Columbia Pilsner Peak style so much that now I've ordered the trousers! These are very nice, non-baggy shorts that will be a boon for traveling. They fit nicely instead of having yards of extra material. The only downside is that the pockets are not-secured. However, there are other models that do this.I'm a bit leery of ordering clothes online anymore. Half the time, the item doesn't fit. But these happen to fit nicely. They are somewhat thin, but I think the material is good quality. They look great, and fit great. I like the stitching. My new favorite shortsgood for bikingIt fit quite small in the thighs. I bought this for an average size adult who normally wears a standard 32 and he said they were way too tight. I would recommend these for someone who has thinner than average legs.Good quality and very comfort to wearI have multiple pairs of these shorts. They fit great and are very high quality!
